Usseralpe
The alm managers Sandro and Sabine look forward to your family visit from
mid-May to the end of October.
The Usseralpe can be reached in 1 ½ hours from Tannheim and is located high above the village. Overnight stays are not possible. The Usseralpe can also be easily reached via the cable car, with a lovely path taking around 20 minutes, or with a mountain bike.
The "Almabtrieb" - when the cows descend from the mountain pastures - is held every year on 21. Sept.

Gimpel Haus
The
Guen family opens the hut every day from May 1 to November 11. The Gimpel
Haus boast 50 beds and 170 dormitory places for those who wish to stay overnight.
The Gimpel Haus can be reached from Nesselwängle in about 1 hour and 15 minutes. It is an ideal starting point for walking tours and climbing routes and is also extremely suitable for families with children or for groups.
Luggage can be transported by the hut's own cable system on request.

Krinnenalpe
The
Krinnenalpe is open from mid-May to mid-October and from December to Easter
for all walkers. Martin Rief is always there for his guests and doesn't have
a day off! Overnight stays can be arranged.
The Krinnenalpe can be reached from the top station of the Nesselwängle lift in only 3 minutes. The Edenalpe is 40 minutes' walk away and the Gräner Ödenalpe 95 minutes.
A forest road provides an attractive way to reach the Krinnenalpe via mountain bike - the route takes about an hour. In the winter the Krinnenalpe can be reached directly from the ski runs.

Nesselwängler Edenalm
The
Edenalm is operated by the Phler family and is open without a day off from
the end of May to mid-October.
It can be reached from the Haldensee lake in around 2 hours and is a favourite for walkers, ski-tourers and mountain-bikers. It can also be reached by the Krinnenalpe chairlift and is only 8 minutes away from the top.
The Edenalm can also be reached via the Gamsbocksteig which leads over the Krinnenalpe to the hut and is for experienced walkers. Mountain bikers can use a forest track to reach the alm.

Landsberger Hütte
The
Friedl family operates the Landsberger Hütte from Whitsun to
mid-October without a day off. The hut provides sleeeping facilities for
up to 200 people.
The Landsberger Hütte can be reached from the Vilsalpsee lake in around 1½ hours. Peaks that are easily accessible from the hut are: Steinkarspitze (2068m); Rote-Spitze (2130m); Lachenspitze (2126m); Schochenspitze (2064m); and the Sulzspitze (2064m).
