Salober Alm
The Salober Alm has a beautiful sun terrace above the Alatsee near Füssen at an altitude of 1150m. The mountain hut is actually in Austria and is a much.loved destination for walkers with beautiful views over the Tyrolean and Allgäu mountains.

Musauer Alm
From Lechaschau or Wängel village centre the route heads to Niederwängle - Langtennenlift - Frauensee, turns left at the northern end and then climbs in the woods to the Sulztal Alpe. Further on to the Hahlejoch (chapel) and from there on a sometimes steep track down to the Musauer Alm. Time ca. 4 hrs.

The return can be made via the Raintal and the Frauensee to Lechaschau or Wängle. Time ca. 3 hrs.

The walk can also be shortened with a descent through the Raintal to Roßschläg and then with the bus back to Reutte.

Panorama Trail and Botanical Educational Walk Jöchelspitze
One of the best activities in the Lech valley. Either walk from the stream to the top staiton of the Lechtaler Bergbahn or take the lift up. From the top station up to the Lachenkopf, through the realm of the alpine flowers.

From the peak of the Jöchelspitze there is a beautiful view over the mountain and valley. The famous Panorama Trail heads down from the peak to the Bernhardseck, and from there to the Alpenrosensteig which takes walkers back to the lift. Time ca. 3-4 hrs.

Around the Plansee and the Heiterwangersee
The circuit starts from the Hotel "Seespitze" on the Plansee and follows the shore sometimes close to the lake and sometime on a higher trail around both lakes. Druation around 4.5 hrs.
The walk can be shortened by taking a motorboat..
Jetties: Hotel "Fischer am See" (Heiterwang), Hotel "Seespitze", Hotel "Forelle".

Stuiben Falls
A particularly lovely walk. From Mühl, past the Metallwerk Plansee to the base of the Reutte electricity station. From there to the right into a rocky gorge, where the Archbach flows through a number of levels. This is the start of the "Hermannsteig", a well-secured trail past a number of small waterfalls and then into the free air again and over a wooded landscape to the "Großen Stuibenfall". Switchbacks lead up to the Kanzel and then to the second somewhat smaller waterfall.
