Starkenberger Biermythos/Bierschwimmbad
The Schloss Starkenberg brewery in Tarrenz near Imst in Tirol opened its new "Beer Experience" in June 2005 under the name "Biermythos".

Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens
Crystal as a symbol of renewal is at the heart of the concept of these underground worlds. The Swarovski Crystal Worlds were designed by multimedia artist Andre Heller inszeniert and are a contemporary chamber of wonders.

Ötzi - Village
This "archaeological theme part" enables the visitor to take a journey into the Stone Age. Afterwards a walk to the Stuiben Falls shouldn't be missed.

Planetarium in Schwaz
Planetary movements, daily and annual motion of the starts, cosmic events such as sun and moon eclipses and the unmanned Mars landings are all explained in the Planetarium.The programmes change twice a year, so there are always new shows to visit. Unsuitable for children under four and reservations recommended!

Schwaz Silver Mines
The Schwaz silver mines dictated the politics and economy in their day. Even now around 500km of tunnels are still accessible. A mining train takes visitors into the shaft which was dug in 1491 and past the old mine workings. The tour through the old mining tunnels at a depth of 800 metres is guided by experienced mining leaders.

Alpinarium Galtür
Galtür suffered a major tragedy with an avalanche in February 1999. The Alpinarium was built to help deal with the reasons and consequences and consists of academic work, themed trails and exhibition rooms which aim to give a documentation of life in high alpine regions.

Schloss Tratzberg in Stans
Schloss Tratzberg has been lovingly renovated to the style of a Tyrolean castle of the 16th century and has become one of the most important artistic and cultural monuments in the province. You can experience history by means of an exciting tour around the castle.

Stams Monastery
Stams Monastery rose to its greatest heights between 1600 and 1800 which resulted in much building work. Thus it became a prime example of the baroque style in Upper Tyrol.

Maria Locherboden Pilgrimage Church
The pilgrimage church of Maria Locherboden is one of the symbols of the area with its highly-visible position on the Sassberg in front of the Mieminger range of mountains. It is open the whole year around and entry is free!

Elbigenalp Woodcarving School
The only training of its type in Austria. This school teaches a complete training in figurative and ornamental woodcarving. The exhibition displays handiwork created by pupils.

Lechtal Natural Cheesemaking
The Lechtaler Naturkäserei is located bewteen the Lechtaler and Allgäuer Alps at an altitude of 1123 m. 40 mountain farmers deliver milk twice daily in autumn winter and spring. In the summer daily deliveries are taken from eight mountain pastures of around 5000 litres of milk, which is of a high value because of the abundance of herbs and flowers between 1600-2500m Seehöhe. The milk is used every day in our production and the cheese is produced using traditional methods. Much is still done by hand, from the production to the care of the cheese. Opening times: daily 08.00 - 18.00
