The Tyrol has always had a close association with climbing. There are now more than 6000 sport climbing routes and as many alpine tours as well as 1500 boulder problems of all grades of difficulty. Add to that plenty of via ferrata and the Tyrol can count itself as one of the climbing paradises in the whole world.
There are a few climbing areas hidden around the Tannenhof that are the perfect starting point for those keen on the sport - try the "Kraftwerkwand“ are or the "Weiss’wand“ area with climbs from 6a upwards to an international level. These areas are accessible on foot from the hotel
